You gotta do what you gotta do…

Ya know, I really didn’t feel like doing the volunteer work today.  I went for a 73-mile bike ride this morning, and I was really tired.  It had been a rough week at work, and I kind of wanted to just sit around and do nothing.  I took a short nap and felt better, so I drove over to Concord and saw both my patients.  Afterward, I was very happy that I did it; the patients seemed to really appreciate the visits.  I feel blessed that I have the opportunity  to help people.

It really seems like these visits often help you as much as them! I’m so glad you are volunteering!
