nothing matters but the weekend

4-day work week, yippee!  The shorter the week, the shorter I want it to be.  C’mon Friday!

Last night I had a good run with the club at Sports Basement.  My buddies David and John were not there (for shame!), but there was a large group.  Kim, the leader, said she was running 5.2 miles total, out and back along the canal trail that picks up behind John Muir hospital.  I had biked 20 miles earlier in the day, so I decided to take it a bit easier and run only 4 miles.  I felt great, though, and I was the first one of the 4-milers back.  I did not, however, run with the weighted pack.

Tonight I may just do one mile to keep intact my January streak of running every day.

We have been watching Series 1 of Downtown Abbey, so maybe we’ll see more of that.  Tomorrow is a Netflix night:  Catch Me If You Can.  Also, I’ve really been enjoying my 30 Rock DVDs.
