Went to CQB City in Stockton today for airsofting with David and a couple of other friends.  The photo above is a sample I found on the internet, not us.  We forgot to get group pictures; no worries, we’ll do it again sometime.  It’s a really cool game — basically playing “army” with BB guns, but the gear people bring is amazing.  I had to borrow weapons and rent a face mask and vest.  Unfortunately, as a newbie, I had a disastrous outing, not knowing what I was doing and having a host of equipment problems, but it was still a great way to spend a day.  Here’s the website for CQB:

Sure beats sitting around the house watching football.  Too bad about the 49ers.  They lost the NFC title game to the Giants.  Nevertheless, I heard it was a good, close game, and they had a great season despite not making it to the Super Bowl.

In other sports, I have a prediction about the San Jose Sharks:  this will prove to be another unfulfilled season.  They will probably win their division and fall to a hotter team in the playoffs.  They still seem to lack what it takes to win at all, having lost 2 recent games to potential playoff teams.  I’ve mostly given up hope that the Sharks and all their talent will ever go all the way.

Had better go to bed soon and get a good night’s rest.  I have a lot of work to do at the office this week.  First I have to get through Monday:  I have a physical scheduled for tomorrow morning at my doctor’s office.
