monstrous day

Wow, I accomplished quite a bit today.  First, I got up early, ate a big breakfast, and ran 20 miles on the Iron Horse Trail in 2 hours and 39 minutes.  Drove back to the house, showered, ate a bit of lunch, and headed right out to a furniture store, where I haggled the price down then bought a mattress and bed frame, and got the guy to agree to deliver it today.  Went to Costco and bought some supplies for the apartment, then dropped them off.  Hurried to the house in time to check emails, then dropped off Erik at work and took another load of stuff to my apartment — really not much, just some  clothes and a few things.  Looked at towels and bed sheets at Target, but didn’t like the selection.  Stopped at the office to update my budget spreadsheet and email it to myself.  Put gas in the car, then went to pick up Erik, but he wasn’t ready, so I went to the house and ate dinner.  Raced back to the apartment with more stuff and met the furniture guy to get the bed into the apartment.  Flew back to the house and had time to watch a movie with the family before taking yet another load of things to the apartment.  Writing this from the lounge in the other building where there is Wi-Fi, because I don’t have internet yet.  Heading off to bed for my first night in the apartment.  What a freakin’ day…
