Sharing Paths

I seek for, I hope for and treasure those precious moments when the hummingbird, or the butterfly, rests her frantic wings and alights nearby long enough that I may share the flowers, and speak with her, when we are both in a calm state of serenity. Absent those cherished junctures, I marvel at her dazzling beauty from afar. I do not catch her. My desire is to experience vividly the same path for a time, and when received, I remain deeply grateful for such gifts. As fleeting as they may have seemed, they are timeless.
